Bruton High School, 185 E Rochambeau Dr, Williamsburg, Virginia 23188

Want to become more involved in your community and help make positive changes? Want to discuss what we want to accomplish in General Assembly next year?  Come learn how you can be an effective volunteer and make an impact locally.

The purpose of the rally is to share information, highlight social, political, and environmental issues that impact Hampton Roads communities, solicit support for potential action items to counter such issues, and present networking opportunities for progressive individuals  who share common interests.  The event is free and will consist of a variety of guest speakers, featuring the Honorable Sam Rasoul— Virginia House of Delegates Eleventh District representative, and ODU Professor—Dr. Erica Woods-Warrior. In addition, the event will present a Virginia Green New Deal Panel; an issues discussion breakout; and an Activist Expo with representatives from over 30 grassroots organizations on hand to provide extensive information about their respective focus.

Peninsula Indivisible is happy to be partnering with the following groups for this event:  Moms Demand Action-Peninsula, Williamsburg Indivisible Group, WJCC Dems, WUU Social Justice Group, WJCC Indivisible and Common Ground Williamsburg.
